A Call to Action

Importance of a Brands

The importance of a brand cannot be overstated... because a brand is not a logo, or a palette, or a vibe.

A brand is a promise you make in public... and then keep in private.

It is the thing people feel before they can explain it. It is what remains when the pitch deck is gone. It is what your work whispers about why you do what you do.

In a world where attention is cheap and trust is rare, most brands will try to win by being louder. We are aiming for something different...

Consistency.

A life that matches the message.
A business that matches the values.
A people whose methods do not contradict their mission.

Our Brand

The Advent Venture Studio will operate as the brand:

"The Advent Movement"

We want to get back to our roots in order to fast forward His coming.

We intend to be the generation that completes what the pioneers began.

The Advent Movement brand identity

Brand Ingredients

Every good brand has the same basic ingredients.

Think of them as questions.
Vision answers where we're going... and why.
Mission answers how we travel there... and who we serve along the way.
Strategy answers what vehicle we'll use... what we'll prioritize on the road... and the pace we expect to keep.

Vision

The vision is like our destination. It is the reason and driving motivator behind why we do what we do.

Because of it's importance we cannot afford to be vague. The time of the end demands clarity. Our vision is our "why." Without it, we risk forgetting what we are fighting for.

"Where there is no vision, the people perish."Proverbs 29:18

Without a clear vision rooted in present truth, our efforts may be well-intentioned... but misdirected. We must recognize that it is in our power to hasten the Lord's return. We cannot afford to wait passively.

Our vision is based on a promise from our precious Jesus that Hewill return as He promised to do...

I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

John 14:3 (KJV)

This is the foundation of our vision... a love for Jesus and a desire to be united with Him.

Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ

Titus 2:13 (KJV)

More than just passively looking for the return of Christ, we desire to do all we can to hasten His return.

Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God...

2 Peter 3:12

We know that we have a role to play to hasten His return...

When the character of Christ shall be perfectly reproduced in His people, then He will come to claim them as His own.

Christ's Object Lessons (COL 69.1)

This is only possible through a love relationship with Jesus...

God desires to dwell in us...but because of sin, He is not able to fulfil His purpose...

From eternal ages it was God's purpose that every created being, from the bright and holy seraph to man, should be a temple for the indwelling of the Creator. Because of sin, humanity ceased to be a temple for God.

Desire of Ages (DA 161.1)

Vision

We envision a people who so reflect the character of Christ that the universe sees the justice and love of God clearly, and the controversy is brought to its close.

Identity

Often we seek purpose, what we will find is that our purpose is an outworking of our identity. It is crucial to reconnect with who we are. Our identity as a people is built upon two distinct components: Seventh-day and Adventist. These two pillars define not only our name but also the foundation of our mission and calling.

Seventh-Day1

Adventist2

We are not ashamed of the name... because it was never meant to be decorative. It was meant to be decisive.

"We are Seventh-day Adventists. Are we ashamed of our name? We answer, "No, no! We are not. It is the name the Lord has given us. It points out the truth that is to be the test of the churches." Letter 110, 1902 (2SM 384.1

The name itself is a message in motion... a label that confronts, invites, and forces the honest heart to choose.

"The name Seventh-day Adventist carries the true features of our faith in front, and will convict the inquiring mind. Like an arrow from the Lord's quiver, it will wound the transgressors of God's law, and will lead to repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ." Testimonies for the Church (1T 224.2)

Seventh-Day
/sev-uhnth-dey/
A Christian denomination that follows the Biblical 7th-day as the day of rest & religious observance.

And the Sabbath is not a minor detail... it is a sign.

"Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the Lord that doth sanctify you." Exodus 31:13

When we keep the Sabbath, we are not merely defending a doctrine... we are declaring allegiance to God's government, and confessing our need of His sanctifying power.

"All who regard the Sabbath as a sign between them and God, showing that He is the God who sanctifies them, will represent the principles of His government." Testimonies (6T 353.4)

The keeping of the Sabbath is a sacred sign of our desire to be sanctified by God, reflecting our commitment to His covenant and His transforming power in our lives.

But our identity is not complete without its second vital component.

Adventist
/ˈadˌven(t)əst/
Believing in the imminent second coming of Christ.

This is not a vague optimism about the future... it is a promise from Jesus Himself.

"I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."
John 14:3

And it is a hope we are meant to live toward... not merely believe.

"Looking for" that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ" Titus 2:13

Even more... Scripture ties our watchfulness to urgency.

"Looking for and hasting" unto the coming of the day of God..."
2 Peter 3:12

Not only do we believe Jesus will return imminently, but that we have a role to play to hasten His return!

"By giving the gospel to the world it is in our power to hasten our Lord's return..." Desire of Ages (DA 633.3)

This identity informs our purpose… Our mission:

Mission

The mission is the journey... mission organizes. The mission statement should flow from the vision and describe how that future becomes reality.

We are not waiting for Christ. Christ is waiting for us. The delay is not in heaven's will... it is in our readiness. The mission is not a side quest. It is the core assignment of the final generation: to prepare a people who can stand without a mediator, reflect Christ's love, and bring glory to the Father.

"Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it." Habakkuk 2:2

Making it plain means to make it actionable. That is our mission, the Advent Movement exists to help Christ-centered builders turn faith into action...

"Let us strive with all the power that God has given us to be among the hundred and forty-four thousand. And let us do all that we can to help others to gain heaven." E.G. White, Review & Herald, March 9, 1905

While we cannot summon Jesus to return... we can do all in our power to ensure we are not hindering His work.

"knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed." Romans 13:11

We want to do everything we can to help people prepare for the final crisis... reflecting Christ's character, and demonstrating that God's way is superior.

We want to do all in our power to make God's way of living approachable, actionable and sustainable. We must give the warning of Revelation 14:8 as well as live a superior way of life as we see in Revelation 18:1-2. Not only giving the message but also living it.

Mission

To restore Adventist identity by remembering how God has led, to form a people who live the faith of Jesus in obedient love, and to mobilize Christlike communities that live ready and serve ready... hastening the return of Christ.
